Stuttgart-born Guitarist Peter Graneis received his first lessons at the age of 9 from Albrecht Niederberger. He entered the class of Professor Johannes Monno at the State University of Music and Performing Arts Stuttgart at 17, where he finished his Bachelor studies with distinction. After a year at the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya (Spain) with Professor Zoran Dukić, he concluded his Master degree with distinction at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague (Netherlands) in 2018.
The Guitarist is prizewinner of international Music Competitions and scholar of the German Academic Exchange Service.
Graneis attended Masterclasses with Guitarists such as Carlo Marchione, Judicaël Perroy, Laura Young oder Thomas Müller-Pering, and others. His debut CD 'Portrait' was released by TREKEL Records (Hamburg, Germany) in 2017 and contains works of Weiss, Murail, Rodrigo, Lobos, Ponce and Sor.
His repertoire also contains a number of his own transcriptions that have been well-received.
In 2018 he published a research exposition on Guitar Technique as part of his Master studies at the Conservatory in The Hague.
